banjo bolt and pass the banjo bolt through
the union at the end of the hose, refer to
Fig 46. Fit the second copper washer to
the banjo bolt and screw the banjo bolt
into the clutch master cylinder outlet port
(remove the port plug). Do not fully tighten
the banjo bolt.

Route the hose down the side of the pedal
box, over the wiring loom (under the
heater hose if fitted) and across the top of
the bell-housing, Refer to Figure 47. Push
the end of the hose into the connector in
the clutch release bearing assembly and
ensure that the hose is firmly attached.
Secure the hose with cable ties if
necessary, to prevent chafing and tighten
the banjo bolt (the clutch system is filled
and bled during start-up/final checks.

7.1.6) Exhaust systems
The standard exhaust system consists of
four primary pipes, a collector assembly
which also incorporates the catalytic
converter and a one piece silencer and tail
pipe.
Bolt the exhaust mounting bracket
(polythene bag marked 'exhaust') to the
RH side of the car forward of the rear
wheel, using setscrew (fastener pack
30X020A Item 1) and spring washers (3),
refer to Figure 48. Secure the bobbin to
the angle bracket with a nut (2) and spring
washer (3).
